Is the entire "Price Quote Source" frame disabled, or is it just the
contents of the frame that is disabled?  Is there a warning in this
frame that says "Finance::Quote not installed properly"?

If the entire frame is disabled and there is a warning, the problem is
in the installation of F::Q.

If the frame is enabled (i.e. "Price Quote Source" is in black letters
instead of in gray letters) then the problem is most likely the account
type you have selected.  You need to set the account type to be 'stock'
or 'mutual fund' on order to select a quote source for automatic
updates.
