Unalbe to start gnucash because of "Unbound variable: gnc:define-report"

Oh, it is a very stable system with the newest libraries. And the great 
advantage is that I know how everything is working from the scratch, 
especially the dependencies of everything. You learn much more than 
simple installing a distribution with ready made packages.
And I got everything working, f.e. Apache/PHP/MySQL, OpenOffice, 
Mozilla, KDE and Gnome :-)
Except GnuCash :-( Really, this is the first application I ran in 
trouble with...

I have got slib-2d6 and I installed it that way:

cp -R slib /usr/share/guile

And in this directory there are 198 files, most of them .scm and some 
.txi and .init files.
Do I have to configure something there? Or is something missing there?
Sorry, I have got no idea how slib is working.
