gnucash crash when trying to run a report

Interestingly, reports *did* work last week and I do have gconfd-1
installed; I'm not sure why it decide to stop running nor why
restarting my session didn't relaunch it.

I run gnome-session, but my WM is fvwm; gconfd-1 doesn't want to
launch.  I have no idea why; it just exits with a status of 1 each
time.  It's been this way for a long time....

I have a session open for my wife using Xvnc and gconfd-1 is running
fine for her...
