I actually don't know.  I have both gtkhtml-1.1 and gtkhtml2
installed; apart from the general kernel, this is a stock Fedora Core
1 system....

I do have the gnome-panel running, `rpm -q gnome-panel' reports
gnome-panel-2.4.0-3.

I appreciate that sentiment, but it is a bit hard sometimes to find
them.  First I have to figure out where the problem is being generated
since, as you point out, it doesn't really come from GnuCash at all.
But as a *user* of GnuCash, that is not at all apparent to me.
