Where is report data stored?

Hey folks!

Question: where does gnucash store the data used for generating reports?  If I
create reports and save, they reappear when I reopen gnucash -- so they're saved
somewhere.  I greped the saved file for the name of the report (a sufficiently
unique string), but it did not appear.

Gnucash is saving the user-entered name of the report somewhere, but I can't
find exactly where.  I'd just like to poke at that part of the saved file a bit,
but can't find where it is.

So... where is it?
