How to track IRA contributions on tax report?

I want my contributions to IRA account to be visible on tax report, but
IRA account is set up as an asset-type account (which is correct) but
the tax report shows income and expenses accounts only, "edit/tax
options" screen also allows to select income and expenses accounts only.
What is the best way to setup IRA account to be tax-related? I don't
want to move IRA account to "expenses" category.
