Q about the toolbar and bill splitting

I agree -- the New Account button is pretty low-use; other high-use
actions should probably be there.

You should file a bug report [iff one doesn't already exist].

The gnome2 port will make fixing that bug marginally easier [due to the
first-order concept of UI overlays and associated merging...].

To answer the next question, the gnome2 port is currently languishing in
CVS, and won't be done for months. :/
