Hi everybody,

I am using Gnucash for quite some while now, and happily so. However, I have
encountered a strange problem. I use the following machine:
Redhat 9
Gnucash 1.8.8
German

When I sell stock, which works easy enough, working in the stock holding
account it usually created a counter-transaction in the other account
automatically. It still does so, but the value of the counter-transaction is
non-existent. It does not show zero but simply nothing. It also does no
longer ask me about the exchange rate when i transfer money from a
USD-account to a EURO account.

Funny thing is it has worked fine for a year, even after I upgraded to 1.8.8
probably 4 months ago.

Any ideas?
