Loan Druid in GnuCash 1.88 is a Thing of Beauty!!! (tm)

All I have to say is WOW!!! I printed out chapter 7 of the manual and went
through it. Manually went through some VERY good instructions recommended on
the list (thank you) - then tried the druid again. First in my current
accounts, then figured - what the heck, lets open a new file.

So - opened a new file so I wouldn't be worried about clobbering any
previously written transactions. Went through the Druid (Actions / Scheduled
Transactions / Loans & Mortgages) and set up a loan using the scheduled
transaction druid. I took a snapshot of dates, amounts, principle and
interest using KSnapshot, figuring it would be a manual thing. Then I
wondered what clicking "Since Last Run" would do. Boom! All transactions were
automagically entered with principle and interest done correctly.

What a thing of beauty! Now I need to figure out what to do about the skip a
payment month in January 2004 - don't know if I should delete that month's
transaction and manually fix up principle and interest - or take another
approach. I'll ponder a little more - but that Druid is really nice.

Now to do my mortgage and home equity loan (then go and take loans no more).
