How to transfer the last year accounts balance.

hello, 

I have exported  the 2004 account for this year 2005 accounts. But all the 
accounts shown zero amount, so how do i carry forward the balance from 2004 
accounts. 

Pls let me know i to do the entries for asset , liabilities and expences 
accounts.
