Year to date features in P&L Report. & Retained Earnings.

Hello,

Does GNU have Year to date features in the P& L Report.?
If have , how to select that features.

Just wondering , the Retained Earnings is automatically carried forward to the 
next months within the year. What about the year end 2004 if we loss 
(negative amount), and for year 2005 we open new  separate account .. does it 
need to carried forward the retained Earning amount to year 2005. How?
