Sending GNC data to a different directory

Hi All,

Save early save often! I do that, so now I have a rapidly expanding
population of backup files in my home directory.  To keep things simple
I would like to direct all saves to ~/GnuCashData/ so that I can still
deal esily with the hidden directories in ~/.  I have made the
GnuCashData directory and have looked through the .gnucash folder and
files, for a line that may indicate the current "save to" location, with
no result.  How do I change the default directory under gnc, please?
