gconfd-1

I'm still having problems with gnucash and fc3.

I've tried running gconfd-1.
I've tried running gconfd-1 in the background.
I've even tried running gconftool-1 which shows gconfd-1 running when I ps.
But gnucash still dies when I try to compile a report.

Any other suggestions?
