Currency Fractions

Hi,

I'm in a situation where I want to transfer fractions of a penny (cent) between
certain accounts, to deal with shared expenses. However, when I go to enter the
values in the register window, the amount is automatically rounded. I have
entered 1/1000 as my smallest fraction in both account information dialogs and
have set automatic decimal point to 3 places; if this even makes a difference.
Does any one know what I might be doing wrong? I have looked, I believe, almost
everywhere for the answer. Thanks for any help
