Multiple Currencies - Tracking Exchange Rates

Hi,

I've finally managed to get multiple currencies working to my liking - I
had to split both Accts Receivable and Accts Payable into two
subaccounts (USD and GBP) and I split my PayPal account into USD and GBP
subaccounts (representative of PayPal's balances for different
currencies), but using GBP as the currency for the parent PayPal account
because it's my default currency for PayPal (representative of the
PayPal account as a whole).

I have Finance::Quotes working, and it's succesfully retrieving the
exchange rates for USD->GBP. I noticed that the Price Editor also
stores the dates that the exchange rates were taken... which leads me to
ask, will GnuCash automatically use the exchange rate applicable to the
date of the transaction? I don't want year-old transactions using
today's exchange rates.

Many thanks,
Matt :)
