It probably shouldn't take on payroll directly - that's why it's important to 
make the GnuCash data available to other processes more easily.

How do you get your GnuCash data into the spreadsheet?

I always intended to look at getting the new XML backend for GnuCash (via QOF) 
to be importable by OOo and other programs like GNumeric but it has slipped 
down the ToDo list.

We could work together on this if you like. I can organise sample XML code 
until G2 is available, see if we can't work out how to import live data.

How do you propose to keep the tables updated with each budget?

That's where the nightmare begins. Extend that to the UK, France, Germany and 
beyond to GnuCash users elsewhere and you've opened a can of worms!
