Help system on 1.8.11 not working

Hello List, newbie with GNUCASH. Installed on OpenBSD 3.7 from the packages.
GNUCASH installed successfully and funs but the help file and tutorial is
not accessible. Stating "Not Found" The specified URL could not be loaded.

I don't have httpd running on this computer. Is a web server needed to
access the help and tutorials?
