It is not possible. 2.0 is much more rigorous about forcing balance.
1.8 didn't scrub the transactions like 2.0 does, which is why you didn't
see this in 1.8. There is no way to turn it off, nor do I think we
should even entertain an option to turn it off. This is a FEATURE,
not a bug.
To work around your issue, always balance your transactions. Use 'tab'
instead of 'CR' to move around.
