It's a bug. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328893
It might be a key-changed (or, maybe "key not being respected") issue; I
don't know if anyone has looked at it from that angle. In any case, any
details you can add or (dis)prove on that bug would be welcome.
