   Thank you, Josh. For whatever reason, Patrick includes KDE but not Gnome.
Shrug. I don't use either so normally it doesn't matter at all. As far as I
can tell, gnucash is the only application installed here that depends on
gnome. I've also not had any KDE-dependent applications, but I just installed
KMyMoney (horrible name IMO) and all that took was installing the kdelibs
package from the Slackware-10.2 distribution set.

   Well, it was a nice run of about four years with gnucash, but I need to use
the checkbook manager and gnucash fought me until it won. I surrender.
