strange mix of fonts used in columns of numbers?

The following 7K PNG file:

http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/clements/funnydigits.png

illustrates a screenshot from gnucash 2.0.0 running on OS X.

From the about box: "This copy was built from r14475:14476 on
2006-07-25."
From uname -a: "Darwin Schmoop-Box.local 8.7.0 Darwin Kernel Version
8.7.0: Fri May 26 15:20:53 PDT 2006; root:xnu-792.6.76.obj~1/
RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc"

The problem is that different fonts are used for different numbers.
About halfway down the screenshot is a "2944.44" that's in a smaller
font than all the others. There are other differences that could
perhaps be accounted for by non-fixed-width fonts, but this one is
really goofy. Is this just an X server configuration issue, or is
Gnucash using different fonts in different rows deliberately?

Thanks for any help with this less-than-crucial issue,

John Clements
