Merging Accounts

I have merged accounts by, wierd as it may seem, deleting them first.
Splits from deleted accounts get "merged" into an account called
"Imbalance-USD" which can be renamed, reparented, retyped etc.
Like this:
Do "check and repair all".
Deal with any transactions that show up in account "Imbalance-USD".
Delete the accounts you want to merge.
Do "check and repair all".
Edit account "Imbalance-USD"
