I normally just start it up by double clicking on the desktop icon.  I
do, however, save often during the course of a session.  When wanting to
set up a GnuCash Datas directory to keep things in sight, I gusess I
must have grabbed a backup file to use as it appeared to be the latest.
Do your comments mean that my original file Andrew_Greig will be up to
date (as at 11/Dec/2005) and that all of these .xac files are just
incremental backups?
