trying to install GnuCash 2.0.0 on a Mac Intel/OSX, (Tiger)

I should have done this a lot earlier. I had fink's latest g-wrap and
everything installed, but that made me start to think - where is it
looking for g-wrap? It turns out that I had installed DarwinPorts
before, and its environment variables were messing up the ./configure.
I uninstalled DarwinPorts, and then continued ...Which takes me to
the next hurdle:

I pasted the tail end of the ./configure output, and then you can see
the results of attempting to make. I tried it in 2.0.0, .1, and .2,
and the results were always the same.

Thanks to anyone who attempts to help!
