Geometry Problems -- *Negative* screen placement of windows

FWIW, I agree; I used to have a similar problem with Fedora Core <= 4.
It could be triggered by exiting GnuCash and then switching virtual
windows while GC was busy saving its file and exiting.  The next time I
launched GC, it would pop up off screen at a location corresponding to
where I was when it last exited.  That is, if I was over one screen to
the right when it exited, GC would pop up one screen to the left when I
would relaunch it.  It could sometimes be difficult to find it :-/

The problem has gone away with FC5.
