installing gnucash on kubuntu

I'm wondering if anyone has worked out a deb package for gnucash to make it
easier to install on kubuntu?

I notice the guile, gnome, slib, and others are required. I'm new to kubuntu
so was hoping its packages.

gnucash does not show up in the add/remove programs applet that kubutu has.
Yes, I did install kubuntu knowing that I would get the kde rather than
gnome -- I like kde better. hopefully a good deb package will fix the
dependancies for me.

any advice appreciated.
