Import QIF Crashes

I wrote a while ago about a QIF import crashing my Ubuntu system.

Derek, you asked for a QIF file and I sent it directly to you. (Although
I don't think there was anything that sensitive in the list of
transactions, something about having a bank statement archived for all
eternity in the mailing list archives didn't appeal to me.)

Any luck figuring out what went wrong?
