Help needed

In running GnuCash 220 on windows, when creating a transaction report
how do you keep it from showing double entry's when you have the asset
"flag" highlighted?

Why does it Add opening balance TWICE to the report when the Opening
balance is highlighted?

How do you get the program to print (to paper) in a readable format?
Every time I try I get upside down, reversed, cut in half characters.
(Using either the default printer font or switching fonts don't matter)
