Compiling gnucash-2.2.1 on FC7 missing slib

Then your system is screwed up.

That's not the correct version of slib.  And there is most certainly
an slib available in Fedora 7.

yum install slib

Upgrade to the version of guile and slib in current fedora..  I use
Fedora 7 as my development environment and it works just fine.
Another thing you could do is just:

  yum install gnucash

And you'll get 2.2.0 on F7.  Then you'll know you have all the right
dependencies and if you want you can then 'rpm -e gnucash', pull in
all the build-deps, and then build it yourself.
