OFX import doesn't allow changing chosen account.

No, you're not missing anything. There is a description somewhere in
the mailing list archives on how to undo the selection by editing the
gnucash data file by hand. I had to do it a couple times when I got
started, didn't have any problems following the directions, but it has
been a couple years for me so I don't remember any details.
