By distribution, g-wrap will attempt to look for glib 1.x; you may not
have glib-1.x, but may have glib-2.x. For g-wrap-1.9.6, changing this is
as simple as changing the relevant configure.ac line from 'glib' to
'glib-2.0', the running autoreconf, then re-configuring and re-building
g-wrap.
