I'm a newb at linux.

I installed Ubuntu, thought I'd put an accounting program on it, so that I
could start the migration.

I followed the instructions.

I de-compressed it to a folder, terminaled into the folder, ran the
./configure, then make, the make-install, at that point I'm lost. I don't
know if it installed, nor do I know where it would have if it did.

Can you help me?
