State of Postgres support, and/or command line interface?

Hi Braindead,
I have written two perl-scripts that converts gnucash's zipped xml-file into sql statements for parsing the date into the old gnucash-1.8.x table strucutre.
The first script is for initial load, the second just posts the delta between the last post to database and actual date. The date handling is not pretty sophistacted but sufficient for me. I still like to continue to do the reporting based on sql.
