Hi Fred,

I Just ran GC in french, and I too see the bug described above.   However, 
I've found a sort-of work-around.

If you change the reconcile date back a few days, so that the account balance 
in the "setup reconcile" dialogue changes, you can then enter your own figure 
which carries on into the actual reconcile process.
