For what it is worth, I have seen this once. My setup is a bit unusual (or
so I think) running 2.2 on Vista and 2.1 on Linux (Ubuntu). All was working
fine with Vista, however as soon as I opened  the same data file from my
Ubuntu box I saw the root account and subsequently started seeing parse
errors. I manually fixed it by removing the root account (vi'ing the data
file).

Like I said, FWIW...
