HUGE problems with gnucash and Ubuntu 7.10, just released

It has a lot to do with the composite extension. Without the composite
extension, you can't turn on compiz fusion ("visual effects" in Ubuntu) and
without that, the problem doesn't exist.

This thread is about running gnucash *with* compiz fusion. Gnucash is, so
far, the only application I've found that doesn't work with compiz fusion.

So, to answer your question; yes, the problem disappears if you turn this
off. That's not really a solution, though.
