problem in adding a placeholder stock account

Hi,

I am trying to add a stock account with the security/currency of that
account set to currency (say) USD. This account will have sub accounts
for different stocks. As each sub account will have a different stock,
it does not make sense for the parent account to have any particular
stock as its security/currency.

In the New Account Box:

Account name: Test
Account Type: Stock
Placeholder: Yes
Security/currency: --- this should be USD

However, the Security/currency select box does not have the currency
option at all.

Please help.


Note: If I do go by the "New Account Heirarchy..." route and select
"Investment Accounts" there, such accounts do get added. However, I
need to add multiple such accounts.

Assets
  Investments
    Brokerage Account
      Stock        ----- Security/currency shows USD

Interestingly, the currency of this account cannot be changed to
another currency!


Note: the same is applicable for Mutual Fund account type too. And, I
need to add them too.
