GnuCash - Loading Pre-downloaded Transactions

Yes I do that & I have had been able to Import the Sav file, plus two other such files!! So come next day & I want to import another QIF file into another account & it is just not possible. 

Now I find it very hard to trace what I did right for the SAV file & it appears that this Import function is very temperamental for some reason or other.

So, once I am in the popup or druid 'Select a QIF to Load':
1.	I click Select and get the next druid 
2.	'Select a QIF File' and here either I double click on the QIF file which takes me to next druid or I single click & then click 'Import' makes no difference to the outcome. Refer attachment GnuCash-Import-3.
3.	 
4.	I then get next druid 'QIF Files You have loaded' and click forward.  I get a informational druid, click forward & then I get:
5.	Next druid 'Match QIF Accounts with GnuCash Accounts' which is blank,  refer attachment GnuCash-Import-4.
6.	  

This is where I am basically struggling to get the sequence right & absolutely not sure why it worked fine the previous day with one lot of files but not today‼‼

I will try a bit more & see what happens.  Hopefully one of you can nail it down as what is wrong in my process to Import QIF!

When you browse to the directory where the two .QIF files are located,
do you actually select the Sav-Aug07.qif file??  All you say that you
do is:

But that's not sufficient; you also need to "select Sav-Aug07" and THEN
click Import..  Are you doing that?  Your other option, I BELIEVE, is
that you could double-click on the Sav-Aug07 file.
