Installing help on MacOSX - can't resolve dependency?

Thanks again, but no such luck there either. The wiki notes that the
Macports option does not work on Leopard. I tried it anyway, just in case,
and it failed miserably.
The fontconfig issue has continued, and it must be a problem with Fink. I'm
trying to decide between seeking help on one of the fink lists, or just
abandoning ship for another program (perhaps Buddi or Cashbox, although
neither seems as full-featured as Gnucash).
Thanks again,
Kaia
