Installing help on MacOSX - can't resolve dependency?

I too was having trouble with the fink install of gnucash but finally
succeeded by updating my X11 code to
X11-2.3.1  Try this link http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/26593
and then doing
fink install gnucash2
It took a while to compile..but it finally worked.
