moving away from gnucash

A late reply - but possibly the pro/con list could have been summarised best by "Pro for bought software= my accountant is too busy to figure out gnucash and likes to encourage buying program x" haha!
seriously - i did some reading around when i started with gnucash, have figured out ways that work for me for aust taxation, incl gst and grants, but i don't have to bother with payroll or some other points you made.
though for some, as you say, either time or code-savvy factors are limited and hence the purchased packages.
but, for others considering it in aust, with some tweaks it may still suit your small business activities...
