I'd hardly call this asking for VIP treatment really. The guy identified
a critical deficiency/bug for GNUCash in his country's "money logic",
did all the legwork to supply the devs with proper documentation on how
it should work, and just asked if there was a planned cycle around 2.2.9.

VIP treatment would be demanding that the devs did all the legwork to
get the documentation needed to make the fix, then demanding that the
release must be made instantly to support him.

I'd say Zoltan has done more than what your typical "freebie freeloader"
type user would do, and has been entirely polite about it.

Working as a dev for my day job, he's the kind of user I'd want to have
using my software :)
