Hi Andrew,
openoffice.org-pyuno could be the right one. I do not know much about
Mandriva.
An explanation of the different name of the packages could be the
following:
When a python-macro is run by openoffice in some Linux-distributions
the native
openoffice python (version 2.3.4) is used in others it will be the
normal python-runtime of the
distribution (usually higher, on my ubuntu-system it is 2.5.2).
There is even a (older) guide "Replacing the python runtime with your
system's python installation"
( [1]http://udk.openoffice.org/python/python-bridge.html#replacing ).
I imagine the "openoffice-python" could need the package named
"openoffice.org-pyuno" whereas
the name of the package for the "distribution-python" would be
python-uno, but I don't know for
sure.
Anyway, is there a problem? Could you describe it?
Regards
Knut
