This is as I learned in Accounting 101.  I really didn't understand
those statements before I took the class, but now they make perfect
sense.

"Income Statement"
    - shows the balance of all Income and Expense accounts
    - concludes with "Net Income" (difference between income and expense)

"Balance Sheet"
    - shows the balance of all Asset and Liability accounts
    - concludes with "Net Worth" (difference between assets and liabilities)
