online quote update and winXP problem

hello,
i would like to use the online funds and shares update.
i want to execute the program "gnc-fq-update" but i cant. i have downloaded
ActivePerl and Perl2exe, then i have tryed also to make a gnc-fq-update.exe
file . But when i launch the exe file, the button online update is not yet
available inside GnuCash.
I dont know what to do at all.
