Transferring data choices

HI all,
	I have a general question for Gnucash users.  I have a lot of data  
currently in Quicken and want to keep some of the history.  In  
general, is it preferred to pull all of the data into Gnucash, or pick  
some time frame (1 yr, 3 yrs, 5yrs etc) and only import that data?  I  
am really just looking for opinions for what people have tried and  
seems to work well.
