ofx import truncates memo/description

Hi,
When I do an import of my ofx history file from my bank, the ofx memo field is truncated to the first 32 characters in the register description field.  I need the whole field do come over with the import.  The full memo is in the ofx file and in the gnucash log file.

Is this just the way it is or can I do something to get it take the whole field?
