unfortunately (?) the latest Firefox presents a strongly-worded dialog
(with a little policeman icon!) and only in small print does it give
you a place to enter an exception.

fortunately one easy fix for THIS server is to open the same URL
through a non-secure connection (just remove the "s" after "http"):
