I can certainly see how it would be a URL-related issue in this case (due to
the colon), however I continue to see the same error message for problems
with file content. For example, I can't open the .xac files from
doc/examples, even if I copy them to the same directory where I keep all my
other data files. So this "Can't parse the URL" error message seems
ambiguous.
