Recording sales of mutual funds and stocks is harder to describe than to do,
once you get the hang of it.

The best way to get help from this list would be to send a representation of
all the splits in the problem transaction (open the mutual-fund account in a
register, select the transaction in question and click the 'Split' button
and either send a screen-shot or type in the information), perhaps changing
anything that is private, so long as it doesn't obscure the problem you are
trying to solve.
